SAFETY MANAGEMENT

Safety-state of being not harmed.
•
Management-physical process of doing
activity so as to reach something/goal.
•
As human, we have been doing various
activities daily in variouhs areas so as to meet our livelihood demands.
•
Examples of the activities are mining,
fishing, transportation, agriculture, etc.
•
These activities can be muscular and
simple jobs.
•
Others are done in the atmosphere,
underground and on earth’s surface.
•
Regardless of the type of job, time done,
and where it/have been done, there are risks associated with the operation of
those jobs.
•
In such scenario, it important to
identify risks and manage them for a sustainable working.
•
This, therefore, enable workers to have a safe
health, as well as being safe while working.
To achieve it, countries have adopted OSHA act which guides
the management of all workers occupational, health and safety.
In practice, some organization have been adhering OSHA
guidelines while others not.
For those comply OSHA, they have been daily reporting
occupational, safety and health shortfalls for taking measures.
Such undertaking revitalizes working relationship, freedom of
work, stable output, etc.
